Full Spectrum Lamps

Modern types of indoor lighting have several drawbacks:

Incandescent bulbs, which are common household bulbs, give off a yellow haze, use a lot of electricity, and don't last very long.

Halogen bulbs, the second most common household type, get dangerously hot, are thereby wasteful of electricity, and give only a slightly better light than incandescent.

Fluorescent tubes and compact fluorescent bulbs are meant to save energy, but they flicker noticeably, also give an unbalanced spectrum of light, and are not dimmable.

Full-spectrum fluorescent lighting as featured here provides the energy-saving and long-life benefits of regular fluorescent tubes, but they also are dimmable, do not flicker, and are specially made to provide a more balanced spectrum of light that visibly resembles sunlight, without emitting any ultraviolet (UV) rays. It's no secret that people report physical symptoms such as eyestrain, headaches, and nausea under prolonged exposure to regular fluorescent lights. Full-spectrum lighting doesn't produce such effects, and even people having such problems under incandescent lighting report immediate benefit from full-spectrum lighting. Even if you aren't suffering from these symptoms, full-spectrum lighting helps you see and feel as if you're outside in the sun.

These are the best. There are several brands of full-spectrum lighting out there to choose from, but I've researched the products out there and sell only what I have found to be the absolute best available on the market. Compare the specs yourself between those offered here and elsewhere, and you'll see the value.
