About the Bates Method Store

The Bates Method Store, now with its own domain at batesmethodstore.com, was previously an extension of www.iblindness.org. It now operates primarily under the business name of Expanding Spirit, based at www.expandingspirit.com.

iblindness.org has been running since 2002 as a resource for people wishing to learn about the Bates method of vision improvement. It has steadily grown to become one of the largest resources found anywhere on the Bates method, serving several hundred visitors per day. It remains free and is packed with books, articles, and other information that I've collected over the years.

The iblindness.org Store was launched in August 2005, and in November 2005 it was separated from iblindness.org to become the Bates Method Store and expanded to offer additional products. Up until the launch of this site, much of the material now in e-book format was sitting unseen and collecting dust in my apartment and just asking to be destroyed in a fire or hard drive crash. But now, it's available on this site!
