Orders are sent by the shipping method you select. The vast majority of orders are shipped out within 2 business days. We will be happy to expedite processing of your order upon request to ensure it ships ASAP. A tracking number will be emailed to you after shipment.
We are administratively located in Richmond, California, but most items are shipped from our warehouse in Traverse City, Michigan.

USPS Media Mail
(2-7 days, Mon-Sat)
Good for possible Saturday delivery, or to PO boxes. The cheapest shipping method available, but restricted to only books and eye charts.
DHL Ground
(1-5 days, Mon-Fri)
The cheapest option for all shipments that don't qualify for Media Mail. No PO boxes.
USPS Priority
(1-3 days, Mon-Sat)
For possible Saturday delivery, or to PO boxes, or for delivery to Alaska and Hawaii.
DHL Next Day
(1 day, Mon-Fri)
The cheapest 1-day shipping method. No PO boxes.

International Shipping
Priority Mail International - Available to All Countries Worldwide

Customs processing occurs in the destination country, and the delays are out of our control. In our experience, most countries, including Canada and the UK, usually only hold an item in customs for several days. However, it varies. Italy as an extreme example always holds items in customs for a month.
You are also responsible for any applicable import fees on merchandise. We will not subvert customs queues or fees by declaring a lower than the sale value or marking the package as a gift. No exceptions. We sympathize with the high fees and delays experienced by international customers, but it is illegal for us to do this.
